Come in and give us a try, you won’t be disappointed!HistoryEstablished in 1921.Bayside Pavilion, originally called Barker’s Restaurant, opened in 1921 & was owned by George & Fannie Barker. One of the last Vermont country roadhouses, it was a well-known summer destination. Known for dancing & light fare, Barker’s was popular for its homemade hot dog & hamburger relish. Barker’s Restaurant was passed on to their son, Bob Barker & his wife Thelma, who ran the restaurant until the late 1970’s. The restaurant closed for a short time until the mid-1980’s, when local St. Albans dentist Ron Kaye bought it & changed the name to Bayside.
